Coilover height maxed out

I seemed to have maxed out how low I can go with my MR coilovers in the rear, but I still want to drop another 1/4"-1/2".

Has anyone had this problem? Suggestions?

I am thinking of taking off the bottom outer cylinder and cutting the inner threaded one off an inch because the inner threaded part is threaded into the outer cylinder all the way until it hits the bottom of the outer one.

Thanks.

I'm guessing you're doing it wrong... you can go too low without hacking up coilovers.

Why do you want to go so low anyways? Do you have RUCAS/Traction Rods/Toe Rods?

I don't think I am going too low. I have seen wheels tucked and I'm not even close to that. I had the height the way I wanted it but when I put the RUCA's on and straighted out the camber some I was left with a quarter inch gap between the tire and the fender that I am trying to close. I cannot think of anyway that I could have put them on wrong, they are so simple. I had no problem adjusting the height before, so I don't think I am adjusting the height wrong. I just can't imagine that the coilovers were designed not to go any lower.

The coilovers are installed correctly. I called Megan Racing and explained the situation and they said it sounds like it is as low as they can go. I took off the coilover, but I cannot cut anything without disturbing the inner workings so I guess this is as low as I'm going for now. I've included a picture to show that the car is not that low. Sorry I don't have a picture with the wheel off.

They should be able to go like twice that low. LOL! You must be adjusting them wrong. Take a pic of them with the wheel off. Then people will be able to help you out.

JVD.

EDIT: What size wheels/tires are you running?
