coilovers for < 1500

well my suspension is buss and getting coilovers. was going to get megans but figured for a little more i could get something better. i really like the megans because the damper adjust is on top. i was looking at the silks but their damp is on the buttom. the tein flex look good too because their damp adjust is on the top. i am looking for something with a 8/6 spring rate and less than 1500. i took at look at the apex exv's, the one that is supposedly the same as the megans. so right now my choices are megans, apex exv, tein flex, and maybe silks. if you have any thought on these choices let me know and if you know of any other coils let me know too. thanks.

the damper adjust is on the bottom of the silks (only the front) because of the inverted design. supposed to make the dampers more durable.
S13 or S14? the spring rates are 8/6 for S13 and 8/7 for S14.
the placement of the damper adjust shouldnt be how you choose coilovers. its not like you're going to change settings frequently.
also, camber for the fronts can be adjusted from the top and bottom of the damper.

supposedly the megans are the same as the apexi N1 (read sticky)

only advantage of tein flex is the edfc option imo.

i was also looking at GP Sports G-Master Coilovers and the GP Sports GR-6 Graduated Suspension. i got a s13.
i don't remember talking about camber adjust only damper. also i know about that sticky but it's apex so if the inards are different at least i'll have apex.

If SD's might be too stiff for you, get Flex.

well gonna pick up apex exv's as i could get them almost the same price as megans. it is 8/6 like the flex. the flex was 300 more for me but i think the exv's will suit me well. plan on writing a review later.

well i got flex's as well but, doesn't seem stiff enough for me(personal preference). BTW the Flex's on my S14 are 6/5 not 8/6.
