could it work??

i have access to a full machine shop wat would happen if i got my hands on an old set of s13 hubs knocked out the studs filled in the holes n then drilled them out with the 5 lug pattern instead of the 4??? is it possible or would it make them to weak and end up braking n destroy my car just an idea since i cant afford a 5-lug conversion

People have done it before, don't know if they filled in the old holes though.
