does it really make a difference what brand strut bar i get?

I agree with that statement to a certain extent. I purchased my strut bar off ebay, and it works fine, definately helps cornering.
HOWEVER
MY friend with his s13 fb bought brand name strut bars, and They are so much thicker and stronger than mine. They were made to fit his car exactly, so there's no adjustment, they fit perfect and hold perfectly.
Yes there is a difference I argue, however I still believe the difference isn't worth the extra $200.

The Cheap Approach ownz me, lol.
I have a no-name strut bar on my Accord daily driver/autocrosser, and it works great, a little plain-but quite functional. But it has to be Suspension Techniques for the sways, otherwise it just ain't done right.....

A bar is not always a bar.
Have any of you ridden Mountain Bike or know about their frame design.
Two frames can look alike (huffy / sears / knockoffs) side by side.
There can be distinct differences between the $150 dollar ride and the $600 ride.
Wall thickness.
Material used.
Inner wall design.
Weld material.
Weld quality.
Those are what I can think of off the top of my head.
Just because they look the same they might not be.
Has anyone seen cutaways of Cuscos bars?

try www.cpracing.ca got some parts from them and it is really good stuff...but a mix up in shipping is holding me back from installing right now.
