Trivia question: wasn't the S12 the last "S" car with drums?

No, they had 4 discs brakes. Or maybe it was just the JDM version

All US-market S12's have 4-wheel disc brakes with the exception of the 1984 CA20E cars, which are the only ones without IRS. Why they stuck the solid axle and drums on that one trim level for one year I don't know, since the previous model, the 80-83 S110, also had 4-wheel discs standard.

Thanks. S12's are my favorite car and my most knowlegeable automotive subject, so on the rare occasion that an S12 question comes up, you can bet I'll jump right on it.
