Front strut rod torque specs

Had my dealership look at my car yesterday because of an airflow problem, and they came back with a list of other stuff that needs to be fixed. Among that was a "loose" strut rod. I don't know if that means that some bushings are shot and need to be replaced, or if it's something that's physically loose. I'm not quite sure what a strut rod even is. But I'm guessing it's a rod connecting to the struts. I'm going to get under my car and find out if anything's loose. Anybody know the torque specs for strut rods? And other parts of the front suspension that might be loose?

strut rod = tension rod. your tension rod bushings are prob shot. id also check all rubber parts (ball joints, tie rod boots, all bushings)

You can get the factory torque specs from a FSM(factory service manual) which you can find online or go to a parts store and get a copy of Chiltons for your specific car.

I can't find a chilton's or hayne's manual anywhere here. My car is one of three S14s I've seen since I came up here in June, so I can see why most autoparts stores wouldn't stock them...

Anyway, I was thinking that it was the tension rod, but I wasn't sure. I had planned on getting some polyurethane bushings for the tension rod anyway, so that's cool. Hopefully that will fix it.
