I have had expirences with both and hawk is better by far. They last longer and stop better.

I'm using Axxis MM's right now and they've been ok so far. I'd like to try some Hawk's when these wear out though. I don't believe I've ever seen one bad review concerning Hawk's.

I've only tried Hawks on 240s....I might try out Axxis Ultimate pads on my Miata.
