What would be the best suspension for drifting and everyday driving use?

Give me your thoughts on either the Tien HE's or HKS Hipermax?(which hipermax is best for drifting?)

well your question is stupid but the HKS are a better product. The Hypermax D are the best for drifting.

But just maybe rather than relying on other people to tell you what is cool you should figure out what you need. Personally if you need a damper at the level of the hypermax you wouldnt be asking this question.

 

best suspension for drifting DOES NOT = best suspension for everyday.

drift = Tein HE, HKS Hypermax D, Kei Office something maybe
everyday = stock. plain stock.

May I suggest silk roads, great suspension for drifting...harsh ride for daily driver

seriously, think about your real plans for the car... if you have $ to play with and a seperate car to drive around town, then go with a drift setup because you'll want nothing less if you plan on drifting... but if you're going to do double duty with the car, then weigh out the percentages - chances are very high that the car will see at least 60% daily per month (taking an example of going to the track every weekend) and there is no way you can daily drive a real drift setup, because it will be too harsh a ride for one, another is that you might end up actually breaking other stuff on regular roads. Tracks don't have big potholes or railroad tracks or driveways, etc. that you'd encounter on a daily basis. You can damage your car on these types of areas if you have a suspension set too stiff.

A lot of people come her with ideas to have some daily-driver high school car AND a full out D1-spec machine all in one, which isn't going to happen. Drift requires a setup that is farther from daily driving than say, autoX. I'm not saying you're one of these people... but it's happened a lot heh

you could but you'd need a lot more than just suspension to drift... ask Catharsis
