Question How much is too low?

I was just wondering at how much lowering is a stock 89 coupe going to take before it affects the camber and causes the tires to bend in? I have been reading other posts and came to the conclusion of getting springs and some KYB's, im considering the "TEIN S" springs which lower the car 1.5" and cost $200(found some on ebay for $150 shipped) Any info or tips on good springs and other suspension stuff will be appreciated. Thanks

TEIN's or Eibach?
springs or coilovers?

I have had my car dropped 4 inches. I am running at a 2 inch drop right now and had to get an alignment done.

You will have to adjust camber at the 1.5 drop. Install the springs and hit a local computer alignment shop. They will fix you up.

There is a great deal of adjustment that can be on the car without install aftermarket arms and the such.

TEIN STECH Springs will lower 1.5" front and 1.3" rear( spring rate is :3.7/3.2
Eibach Pro Kit will lower 1.8" front and 1.6" rear

What would be best?

The Stech is under rated. You get a big drop from them. I have seen them on s14s and they get slammed. More like a 2 inch drop.

Well, I got the sportline springs with just the regular KYB gas struts on my car and the drop is about 2.5 inch drop if i recall, and i am getting very little negative camber; overall, the car handles very well as equivelant to the Tein SS coilovers on my other EK Civic Hatchback. I love it and i really think you should look into getting that setup and plus it is very Affortable. However, I have no experience with the Tein springs which you guys were talking about but i guess you can do some research on that too.
