I NEED HELP!!! please read this!

Alright well i thought i got through the hard part of getting the hubs on, break off the tension rods and control arms and getting my 300zx calipers on with the conversion lines. But after i bled the lines 6 times completely i still have no preasure on my brake pedal. Then my dad had the bright idea of bleeding the master cylinder which built up some pressure but still gave me the same result, i was still able to push the pedal alll the way to the floor. Do i need to get the 300zx master cylinder? or can i still use mine? If i can still use mine what is the problem? Its getting very frustrating and if i dont have need to get more parts then i dont want to. So please any help would be great.

I used an automatic bleeder which hooks up to the nipple on the calipers and you squeeze a pump to suck all the air out and bring the fluid through the calipers. I did have the cap on the resivoir when i was bleeding the lines.

from what I've read you can still keep your stock 240 MC and I know for a fact that you can with the Q45 brake upgrade but here's a link that might shed some lighhttp://www.ka24development.com/tech_info.html

Actually that site helped, but didnt answer my key question. Can I still use the s14 MC? Well let me just tell all you guys that were lookin at this thread that unless you replace all the lines, all the hardware and every other brake component that is related to the brake system with brand new out of the box, never been used before parts, DONT GET SYNTHETIC BRAKE FLUID! It will not work! I will let you guys know what happens when i get regular brake fuild in the system...

From everything I have read, you can use the s14 master cylinder. However, I have read that you cannot use the stock brake lines. Did you upgrade these during the install?

You do need the 300 MC. There are 3 sizes and I forget what one you need. But you do need it.

agreed. changing to a 300zx mc helps under hard braking but for normal use the stock one will work. make sure everything is secure if anything then your mc is bad. change that out.

Things go out for no reason. example did a motor swap then the clutch mc went bad for no reason had to buy a new one.
