Question Installing Suspension

I was thinking about getting the Tein HG Gravel Spec Suspension because my friend said he had a hook up.. and was wondering what methods do you use to install them..... go to the shop or do it yourself job?.. just wondering. Thanks for your time

oh yea... its not for my Bimmer if you thought.. its for my future S13.. ya know gotta plan ahead a lil. =p

do it yourself...it is sooooooooooooo easy that if you pay someone else to do it you'll regret it.

The tein HG?? There isnt a HG series for the 240..thats only for rally. Just make sure to get a spring compressor...u will need it. it isnt expensive, like 40 bucks i think.

Thanks for the infor guys.. and Hyjynx... thanks for tellimg me.. I just found out that last night before I slept lol ^_^; Well my bud said he can get mostly any Tein part... so now just more looking into them ja ne.

If the coilovers come pre-assembled with upper pillowball/camber mounts, you won't need the spring compressors. You can just pull out the strut/spring assemblies and put in the coilovers.

Yea I just came back from the Japan Expo and this guy was talking to me about them. The HEs that is. There were two RS*R cars there the S14 and the 350Z. and another Tein 350z for sale.

There's gotta be an istallation tips FAQ or something around. A factory service manual is always a good thing to have too.

yeah, I have the FSM downloaded for anyone that wants it. I don't have a FAQ for installing coilovers, but there is one for shocks/springs. DEFINATELY diy, you'll love it that much more than you did it, makes the car feel so much more like yours.
