haha, i just searched google and asked jeeves, they both just gave me websites of people who carried inverted coilovers like kei-office and who ever. But whatever, i'll keep trying to find it.

I don't know why, but all racing teams seem to use inverted shock design. That is what alot of the new bikes are starting to come with also. Im not sure why it is better, all it is doing is the shock tube is pressing down on the piston instead of the piston pressing down into the shock tube. Keep us posted on what you find out.

Tein does not have inverted shock.

It creates a better rebound and has better compression at least that what JIC told me.

But you have to adjust it at the bottom of the strut.

okay, is there any way to tell by looking at the coilover to see if its inverted?

inverted shock will offer more stiffness/rigidity as opposed to flex, should have longer life span too since its stronger.....check out kei office, silk roads, etc.

Aren't Kei office and GP sports coilovers made by the same manufacturer? I think the GR-6's are my number one choice, but what the difference between GR-6 and G4? Are they both inverted shock?

i mean about kei office and gp, not sure about the differences between the gr6 and g4. I'll be getting the silk roads rm/a8 which is about identical to those in features and quality for significantly less price

the GR-6 are made by section/silkroadto GP sports specs

the GR-4 (i have these) are made by Kei Officee for GP sports, these are to harsh for most people so they stoped making them

Catharsis, what do you think about G4's (since you have them). I'm in high school, driving locally, and just want my car to look nice and have crazy handling performance. Can i tuck 17's with the G4's? and also, are they dampening adjustable?

you shouldnt tuck wheels and you cant get the GR'4s anymore they are disscontinued i have the only pair in north america i know of
