just need a simple yes or no

well, im about to buy some wheels and suspension at the same time. im really looking at a staggered set and i figured that the 18x8.5+35F and 18x9.5+35R wouldnt clear a New Years Setup (KYB AGX shocks w/ Eibach Sportlines) so i looked around and i saw a skinnier set of 18x7.5+38F and 18x8.5+35R. i just wondered if they would fit on the 2" Sportline drop w/o having to Roll and Pull the Fenders.

edit:
and FYI, i did do the search button. and i looked at recommendations at what people said. those +20 offsets are hard to come by esp in 4lug.

also, these wheels are just for daily driving, when i go mess around, imma put my stockies back on.

and i know 18 are kinda big, but the 17s were just sold out at the place i was lookin at.

so would they fit? yeah or no?

I say forget the 18 get the widest 17's you can. Don't just buy something because the store doesn't have what you want in stock. Never settle for any thing less then you want to.

If its one thing I learned in this game is that if you want to play, you have to pay, and wait.

Get something AT LEAST 8 inches wide...with a 30 or lower offset...and common roll your fender, its not a big deal...

^well, im just trying to avoid the money problem. like i said, it's pretty much for daily driving. if i was going to be racing around, i'd get some nicely forged 17x9F and 17x10R and pay an arm and a leg for it. ****, i prolly will down the line too. but that line is somewhat 4 years from now when i have another car to drive daily with.

the wheels im looking at aren't forged, but they look pretty damn nice and only cost around $530 for all four.

thanks for the recommendations, since my car is just for a nice daily driver, im not really considering racing that much. when i do decide to go to a trackday/auto-x, i'll just slap my stock teardrops back on. i gotta drive about 40 miles 1 way anyway to get to school n what not. but i'll ask the shop when they'll get the 17s again. and how much it'll cost to roll and pull the fenders. thanks again. you guys can close this thread now.

this is what the seller has sent me:
the 18X7.5 and 18X8.5 should be direct fit!. You should also consider getting tire size. Rims usually don't rub but tires do.

2" drop with 215/35/18 and 245/35/18 should be fine. Here are 2 pics of the 240SX with 2" drop and 18X8.5 and 18X9.5.

haha i knew it was the sportmax wheels from the title. too bad they weigh a ton. i would get 17x9 all around and get 20 mm hub spacers (thas for my s14 tho) so imo just get the +35 on 17x9 maybe a 5 mm spacer.

What he said....if you say its for daily driving...then DONT stagger. Theres no point...you can rotate tires with 17x9 all around...
