lowering springs...
I have a question for you experienced suspension guys. My suspension on my 92 240 is shot to Kingdom come. I want to buy coilovers but I don't make enough money to do that so I was thinking about ordering all 4 stock replacement struts from a local auto parts store and then buying some name brand lowering springs off Ebay for $100. My only concern is that the springs on my car now are pretty wide and all of the springs they show on Ebay are really narrow. Will those work on my car? The only springs I've actually seen on Ebay that look like my stock ones are the Tein S lowering springs but they are all for 95-98 240s instead of mine. What do you guys think? Can I simply use the smaller springs on the stock struts?
Also, what brands are better out of the selection on Ebaymotors? Ksport, Tenzo, TeinS, etc.

Keep in mind that the springs they show on ebay are just a random spring, they dont post the picture of the springs for your car most of the time. If you go the lowering springs route, your struts will blow again. For what you will pay for a decent spring/strut combo, you can pick up a nice set of used coilovers. Let me tell you, the ride quality is amazing, it handles so much better than stock and springs.
