With the effort involved to drop it and weld it (maybe this is just a stupid idea)....it might be just as easy to buy a new one or get one from a junkyard

a little to the left from the bottom bolt. the cracks is from the bottom through half way on the subframe.

it will only get worse with time.

if you can weld it and try to reinforce the whole subframe.

you will feel a difference.

that is if you cant find another one.

No selling. This is not the forsale area.

You could have sent that to him in a PM.

Im surprised that the junk yards near you dont have any S13's sittin around.

Back to subject, I'd replace the sucker. I've been in the autobody collision buisness for over 3 years, welding wont do jack for a cracked subframe (even compromises it) unless you do major reinforcement plating to that subframe.

My best advice would be to go and search for a rear sub (sourcing one out from a Nissan junk yard, they can help you locate one relatively close to you)

OR

Find a JDM S14 or S15 (S15 if you can find one) and replace it with that. S15 rear subs are very stout and can take a good beating from drifting.

If you want to swap out to a JDM sub, check out the Vendor for sale section here... I coulda sworn I saw one of them who sells a lot of rear end clips for reasonable price.

It's all in the amount of effort you want to put into sourcing one out. Good luck!
