noise when reversing

noise when reversing

this has been happening when i got the car, everytime i reverse it always make this huge thump sound...well..it sounds like a loud *** crack or something like i ran over something or something blowing out, i was wondering if this has happened to any one or if any one know what it is?

S13 all make that weird noise when going reverse, the pads are shifting

Same here. Check out this link at PDM about half way down the page... they give an explanation of the problem and what worn out part is the problem...the S13 Front Top Bearing Mount Insulator.
