Rear End Alignment, part 2

Ok I'm getting coilovers soon and I'm going to be about 2" lower than stock. I'm planning on getting adjustable rear upper arms at the same time. Combined with the factory adjustment for rear toe, would this be enough to get my alignment to factory specs? I know that on a multi-link suspension, changing one length of one link affects every other link... I'm wondering if just having the adjustable rear upper arm might throw the toe off too much, or anything else that would result in bad handling or super tire wear. Anyone?

I'm going to be dealing with the same thing. I lowered my car and now it has some nasty negative camber and too much toe in. I'm running a super hicas that I welded up that allows me the toe adjustment, but still no upper arms. I don't know if you need only the one the shock goes thru or if both uppers need to be adj?

oh yeah duh, I should answer the ??? huh. When you lower a 240 the wheels toe in and lean in more(more - camber). This is bad you get tire wear like one of our customers new on the outside bald on the inside in like 3000 miles. It's actually a really good design because that's what you want-when cornering, but not all the time obviously.

No I already know that part - what I was asking is for people who lowered their cars more than 1" if the rear upper adjustable arms, combined with the FACTORY toe adjustment, is enough to get the rear wheel straight within recommended specs.

no its not....i dunno how much i lowered my car, but i think its about 1.5-2" the rear tow can not be corrected w/ the stock arms...thats y i had to upgrade...AND DO NOT RIDE w/o the alignment....i rode w/o alignment for about 1k and my tires are GONE....****....$300 tires were freaking WORN out...i didn't get the ruca yet, but the chamber isn't even CLOSE to the amount of wear that the toe will cause.....

i have both the Battle Verison Rucas and toe links. the factory is nice to have when i go to autox and want some more camber...but combine the two and take it to a alignment place and you can get it damn near 0 degrees. in other words:

stock is nice but i would get both the Rucas and toe links.

Thank you sir... that's all I was waiting for - someone who has the parts to let us know the deal

Yeah I've seen them... Cartune also has their own version for about $120ish... Kazama's and Cuscos and even SPL's are nice but $$$$$ wowowow.
