Rear Rotors/Brakes/Caliper NOISES!!! HELP!!!

the problem is on a Z32 300zx. whenever you brake, the rear caliper and rotors seem to be scraping on eachother. it's a metal on metal noise. i know for sure it's not the brake pads because it's not a squeeking noise. anyone have any ideas of what it could be? and any suggestions on how to fix it? HELP

Have you checked the pistons to see if they are locked? That could be causing your problem

it could be your pads they may be metal to metal (your pad could be worn unevenly, from a siezed slider) and not all pads have squeekers in them, or you could be missing a brake pad alltogether.

yup.... we found out that it was an uneven brake pad.... the outer rim of the rotor was graded down and was rough. i checked the pad and the back end of it was bad. thanks for the posts.
