reccomended system

ok well there are 2 kits i need
1. a brake kit
2. a body kit

for the brake kit, i need to re-do rotors, pads, calipers, and everything because the man i bought it from didn't take care of it, and tried to replace the front left rotor and broke off a bolt to the caliper..
soo
anyway i wanted to re-do the system with some slotted "cross" drilled rotors and such, but i dont really know what to look for, so thats why i asked. also springs and 4 way independet shocks is what i am looking for to.

a body kit...
this is a hard decision, because the car has some rust on the bumpers and on the side skirts, so i was going to kit it with plastic or fiberglass so that i dont have that problem anymore. and all i will have to take care of is the wheel wells and the hatch because when we tubbed it we found a small rust spot.

ANY IDEA HOW TO FIX RUST SPOTS???? its rusted all the way through

so i know all of you have been on here for a while and have done your share of working on 240's..

so i just wanted to know what you thought a good kit would be thats kind of cheap.

thanks,
sam

If you're not in need of a high performance brake system, find a set of OEM calipers, pick up a set of Powerstop slotted rotors, and a set of decent brake pads, like Axxis.

Bodykit is all up to what look you want. Check sites like GTP to get ideas.

As for springs and shocks, I'd suggest KYB AGX shocks, and either Tein, RS*R, Whiteline, or Eiback springs.

If you want more user feedback, try the "search" button above.

i knew that button was going to be dragged into this! haha

i saw a set of springs/shocks made by eibach and i was thinking of just doing that with some coil overs so i can lower it or raise it.

Hahaha yeah that button gets dragged into a lot of threads...

...BTW Eibach Race or Sportline springs are designed to fit regular shocks, i.e. Tokico, KYB, OEM... as for coilovers, they won't fit on the sleeve-type (which aren't worth the $$ in the first place). If you want ride height adjustability and a decent suspension setup, the least expensive option would be something like Tein Basics.
