right front strut LOUD!!!!

i just repl my strut mounts and no when i turn i can hear noise like you would hear from old door that needs wd-40. nothing is loose. i did loose the little plastic cover that goes arond the bottom of spring, is this the cause? i had my bud turn the wheel and cant pin point.

it could be dirt or derbris in teh spring mount...I have had this poblem with rubber contacts on metal before..may need to either spray some silicone lube to hopefully work it out or take it back apart and clean the seats before reinstall

When do you get the noise? Is it when you're going slow, ie out of your driveway or just slow turns? Is it a groaning and/or popping noise?

If its that then it is most likely your strut mount bearing.

www.pdm-racing.com has oem replacements.

i had that same problem. put some anti-sieze on the spring mount where it touches the metal part. problems solved. you might have to put some on there everytime you wash it really good, but other than that, no probs
