RUCA Squeaks???

i already searched the forum, looks like people only suggest grease to help
solve the problem but it didnt work for me, so i thought i might ask to see if
it is something else wrong.

here's the story:

i installed tanabe RUCA for my S14 couple days ago, I started hearing
crazy squeaking noise from the rear passenger side i believe. I already
grease them today since i forgot the first time, seems like it didnt help at all.
the squeaking noise wasnt too loud, but i can hear it every little bump no
matter on highway or locals. im wondering if i did something wrong and
what can i do to fix it since it really annoys me.

btw, i have tein ss and spl subframe spacers on my car...

please help me out.
thanks in advance.

that happened to me too.. i found out it was my lower control arm bolt (threaded side) was actually rubbing up against the shock.

LandHo_S13: that only happens it i slam the car right, my car is not that low, plus i've had my coilovers for almost 2 months, never heard of anything before the RUCA.

KeN VeRsUs RyU: do you have RUCA? how did u end up fixing the problem?

Yeah i have RUCA. It only happened when i slammed it (couldn't fit my finger in the fender) and eyed the camber myself. Then i realized i couldn't take the shock off the hub because the lower arm bolt was in the way so i took a saw and just sawed off the threaded side right up to the nut. I didn't take anything off to do that.. i just did it right on the car.

I'm not sure if that's what you're experiencing but look at your shock and see if anything is rubbing.

No the car does not have to be slammed. Just take a good look at yoru suspension make sure nothing is hitting or rubbing of the sorts.

eyeball camber = don't fool yourself.

if nothing is rubbing but you're getting those noises, your car might be too low and your bushings might be too old.
