S & W 10 point cage install...

Does anyone have any experience with the S & W roll cage for the S13 chassis? I am doing a 10 point install for a customer, and I'm very unhappy with the fitment, especially the windshield support and the halo. Hoping others have some opinions.

Kit was pre-bent. I am currently working with S & W engineering, so hopefully everything will work out for the better.

250-500USD without installation. Price is dependent on material and tube size.

It shouldn't be. It is completely blocking the view. I am trying to work with S & W, and figure out a solution. For this install the owner has decided to ditch the 10 point cage, and stick with an 8 point. The 8 point roll bar is still good to 10.00 seconds or slower per the NHRA.

Looking at the design, I am not a fan of the rear bars. They end up at the trunk floor right on top of a frame rail, which is ok. But for better rigidity and performance, most go to the rear strut towers. Also, the main hoopdoesnt seem wide enough at the top. Seems like that angle might impede on a race seat

The owner/driver of the car is about 6'5" which makes it difficult to install in such a small chassis. The main hoop is surely too narrow. With a full interior it might be a different story. As for the rear support bars, NHRA regs require 30" of length minimum and a 30-degree or greater angle between the main hoop, and the support. I can't make that work between the strut towers and the main hoop. However, I will be installing frame support bars later on, which will stiffen up the chassis a bit.
