Adjusting the height with your mood is a bad idea. Unless you have access to corner scales or can afford to pay someone who does to setup your coilovers then leave the adjustable spring perches alone.

It is easy. Just turn the perches.
The thing that most people don't realize is that without corner weighting the car you will likely end up with a car that handles worse than if you had just bought a desent set of dampoers and lowering springs.
The potential of coilovers is greater, but unless they're properly set up you can end up with freaky handling.

1.2-1.5" Drop
Hi guys just bought my 98 240SX SE 6 month ago and I want to drop my car about 1.2-1.5" mostly for city driving, but i do take my corners at high speeds. The suspension that my car has is awesome, but I want it to be a bit better and the car be a little lower. I dont want the ride quality to suffer too much... and my tirewear to increase dramatically. I want to spend about $1000-$1500. Can you please recommend a good setup ?
ALso, my steering wheel been feeling kind of lose... is that because i ***ed up some buchin* in the suspension ?

Eibach ProKits and KYB AGX shocks will drop your car about 1.5" for $650. If you've decided to spend the budget of $1000 you could go with a Tein coilover setup that will allow for adjustability, or you could put the extra towarsds turbo parts / brakes / other suspension stuff.
