I'd say start off by getting the Suspension Techniques sways. You can get them for about $270 to $300 for the front and rear. Next, you can get just about any old strut tower braces. They all do the same thing, so if your on a budget just look for the cheapest one you can find, or make them yourself. As for the shocks, springs, and struts, I wouldn't know, because I have coilovers, and those puppies were over $1000 right there. lol Good luck with your project.

What are you planning on using your car for? Show? Track? Road racing?

World sports are a waste of money. It's pretty much just for show and if you were considering on paying $1k, why not get Tein's and at least have fun taking your car to the track.

Hmmm for $1000... you can get Koni Adjustables for about $450, H&R springs or Eibach for $200.. spend about $250 for ST sway bars, and a Tanabe or Trust front strut bar for about $100. That will ring up around $1k and you'd have a decent set up for auto X. Hope that helps

Koni Adjustables can be found on any import site.. Try www.projectimport.com. They don't always give the best, but usually pretty good prices.

Tein is a well known company from Japan and is recently making there move here to the US, to start Tein USA. Tein HA's are about $1060 for a 240sx, so your's should probably be in that area. Teins might be too harsh of a ride if you're looking to cruise and drag race occasionally.
