suspension help?

this guy in my area wants to sell me his used eibach sportline for a 1997- 240sx SE.
1) how much is a good deal since its almost a year old.
2) do i have to buy shock right away after? if not how long will the stock shocks last 4 untill the 1.7 front and 1.4 drop in the rear die out or whatever the term is called?

thanks alot.

Get it for 70-90. The stock shocks wont last long, and the ride wont be as good as with aftermarket shocks.

For just a little more some KYB AGX's would be great. If you cant save up for that, then go for Tokicos.

You can get a set of four KYB AGXs for about $375 from www.tirerack.com .

I recommend those I have them and even with the stock springs which are probably shot anyway they make a world of difference.
