What does everyone think of this LSD/alternative?

Has anyone ever seen this?

What do you guys think, I'm looking for an LSD (not the VLSD that you can find in the junk yards though).

It's been discussed before. It's not a good alternative if you plan to be making much power or you want a GOOD LSD.

Do they even have a 240 application?

It makes no sense to swap this in... by the time you have someone re-shim an align everything back in your rear end (you won't get this right on your own unless you really, really know what you're doing) it ends up costing more than an actual LSD from a HICAS car or JDM import.

WHy are you set against the VLSD?

Yes, they have a 240 application listed on their site.

The only reason I was shying away from the VLSD is because I was told (which of course could be wrong) that mechanical types are far superior. If this is not the case and the stock VLSD can handle plenty of power and is perfect for casual aggressive applications (spirited daily driving, autocrossing, maybe some non-competitive laps) then by all means let me know.

There are better types, but VLSDs and clutch styles are very similar in engagement and capabilities.

I know a lot of people making a lot of power who haven't had problems with the VLSD.
