Why do a 5 lug conversion?

I've read a lot about how, what you need, and all of that kind of stuff, but I'm wondering what's the benefit that justifies the cost?

I have a base and want to start building it up. I'm planning on starting from the ground and working up. That means wheels/tires are early in the process. If I do a 5 lug conversion it may change the wheels that I decide to get. So is there a good reason to do the conversion? Or is it a "nice to have" type of thing?

Only benifets are; better selection of wheels with better offsets, Can upgrade to bigger and better brakes with out redrilling the rotors. Thats pretty much it...

you can go to www.importfan.com and buy a 5-lug hub that "bolts" rite up, and it's not too expnsive.

obviously u'd have to get ur rotors redrilled for the 5 lug pattern (or just buy S14 oem style 5 luggers). other than that, i wouldn't think there would be any other issues. some straighten me out if i'm off...

This is the only one that I've found on importfan.com...

http://www.importfan.com/product.asp?3=5386

It's says it's for the s13, will it work for an 95 s14 too?
