such as the mechanical failures like the head? or are u referring to proper tuning such as fuel delivery etc?

 

I haven't driven one yet, but my cousin just turboed his KA. He used a turbonetics kit. From what he told me it had good midrange power and spooled up quick. At the time he told me this he still had not tuned it. So its not at its full potential. But he said he was happy with it. Its mostly used for mountain driving. Especially on our hill, midrange is key. I would do it. 2.4 turbo, definitely has serious potential.

 

Well, if you lower compression and raise boost, itll be safe, but you got to worry about turbo lag now since upping boost will increase the lag. Just somethign to keep in mind.
