boost woes. (slight mechanical problem)
Does anyone know how to fix the problem of intercooler piping popping loose under high boost situations?
I've got a GReddy type-v intercooler kit with a (no name) 2" hot pipe and i've had to re-connect the hot pipe on more than one occasion in the past week. It's getting old really fast and I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on new pipe connectors that I could buy or anything of the sorts.
Thanks for any help.

does the hotpipe have the flared end on it to help it? mines done that once but ive started using rachets (spelling???) that way i get mor leverage than a screwdriver and just tighten the ish out it..

what type of clamps do you have........... try ( T Clamps ) they are the best and i have never had a problem them...... one of our KA-T's around here was pushing 29 PSI and it was using T clams to hold the intercooler piping together.......so i would just go buy them.

I tried ratcheting them down once instead of a screwdriver and that lasted a little longer, but i think it's because the pipes dont line up perfect. I found some rubber pipe connectors at Lowe's to replace the weak *** silicone ones so i'm gonna get those when i get my paycheck.
i did buy some Ideal clamps today that have a key on them just as a temporary solution, so that they're easier to put back on.
the hotpipe does have a flared end on it but it's chromed and all of the other pipes are a little rough so they hold better whereas the hotpipe is just slick.
By the way... how much do these "T clamps" usually run for?
Thanks!
