boostdesigns turbo rebuild kit

Hey guys im just puttin this out there, boosdesigns has a rebuild kit were, this is what i think happens, you send them your KA, now i might be wrong on you sending it to them but anyways, they rebuild it and turbo it for 1699.99 and they say its capable of 450-500hp. Now that seems kinda fishy to me but if any of you guys have heard anything about it good or bad please post here so i can get some info. Actually am considering this over doing it the hard way, taking it to a shop and ordering all the stuff there and then having them do it which takes out half the fun. So if youve heard anything about them PLEASE let me know. Thanks

do a quick little search i'm pretty sure i heard really bad things about them... could be wrong though. And i think thats price would just be for the rebuild kit with the internals made for boosting.

im pretty sure its just the long block they rebuild. they build it up to handle 450 to 500 hp. no turbo kit cause there cheapest kit is like 1800 alone.

Call them or send them an email asking how much the kit would be if you did it yourself. But for that price I would be very worried on the finished product.

Agree with above post. Most machine shops will charge that just for labor & machining.
The forged internals( crank rods & pistons) alone will run you over $1000.
