yes you can run a z32 with just a afc. any year z32 maf should be fine. just make sure it has a plug too or you'll be buying one seperate from a aftermarket supplier.

i just picked up my boost controller. i got the turboxs dual stage controller. and i got a dual pod with x7 spw boost, and air/fuel 7 color gauges. i also got the safc2. the only thing ride revolution didnt have was the injectors. i have to wait about two weeks for them.

is the a/f guage wideband? if not, i suggest you return that and get one, any other kind is not accurate and not worth your time

edit: i think aem sells a wideband o2 gauge/ controller combo, so you also get the hand held unit, check that out

i am deffently going to get one. ill take my $60 gauge back and i will look at the aem and others. thanks for the advice. im going to get the ecu upgrade in the future, just not yet. i guess i have to get the 550 injectors that will top out around 350hp beause of the safc, and then in the future i will go with the ecu upgrade and bigger injectors (the bigger injectors are only if 350hp starts to feel to slow after time) but i dont think it will. i also have the nitrous on top of that so i should be good. i will post my dyno slips when i get it done, on the turbo forum. it will be at least a month from now or more. Christmas has a hold on my pocket, along with a new baby due in march. is there anything else that i should get that you guys know from experiance that would make a safer set up?

safety wise... all the gauges, upgraded rad and fans, changed fluids etc... not really necessary, you can run 400hp on a stock sr20 rad, but a koyo is a nice piece to keep things cool... same with the gauges, just keeping an eye on your sh*t

i have the ka24de, and i know about the fans and radiators, i just didnt know how the stock ka radiator would hold up with the intercooler in front of it and the hp numbers. i do plan on upgrading these things, but not right now. im going to change out my drilled and sloted rotors for 300zx ones. and more suspension parts so i dont kill myself.

i just got the safc2 in the mail today, and i was reading up on the install and seen that it connects to the speed sensor wire. my speedometer, and the miles doesnt work, but my rpms and everything else does. i replaced the speed sensor and the hole dash piece. and it still doesnt work. i believe it is the little plastic gear in the tranny that the speed sensor goes to. but im not totaly sure. it also could be a wire. this started when i jacked up the engine and tranny to replace the oil pan gasket about two years ago. will the safc2 still function correctly like this? or do i have to get my new tranny now, and delay the turbo install. thanks

i just installed the intercooler today, it was a perfect fit with the body kit i have. i didnt have to trim anything. i just had to cut the metal bumper guard and drill two holes. it looks good. i will be installing the dual pod, gauges and the safc2 tomorrow, so i will write if i have a problem.

well, it will be a long time now before i get to put on the turbo. an old lady pulled out in front of me today(right in front) i didnt even have time to push the brakes. i was driving normal (about 45mph) it stoped me dead in my tracks. it messed my front end up bad. including carbon fiber hood, finders, radiator, air intake, door wont close, intercooler, and a lot of frame work. i cracked 3 ribs, and bruised my cest caviaty. i didnt have insurance but she has full coverage. i dont know the cost yet to fix it, but i know her insurance wont put on the performance and aftermarket parts. i have to go to court on dec. 28 for no insurance. its all her fault though.
