Exhaust Opinions

I'm looking to buy a catback system for an S14DET and I want the quietest, most discreet 3" stainless steel system I can find with an emphasis on discreet. Which do you think is the better choice with the above mentioned criteria. The HKS Dragger II or the Blitz Nur Spec Racing. I've considered the Apexi N1 Dual but found out it's only 70mm up to the resonator and I'm not real fond of the dual cans out back.

I really don't want an exhaust that screams "look at me" nor do I want one that's obnoxiously loud. For those who've heard these exhaust systems please help with my decision.

Have you looked at the HKS super dragger?

One of my friends has one on his S14a fully custom SR20DET, it sounds nice, but not so loud. It has a deep purr to it, and a nice strong deep rev-up when u "play" hehe.

blitz nur spec is really loud even with a silencer on it go for the hks

I dun remmebering the cannister being so big.... I should look at my friends S14a again...

But I think it is that one... niiiiiiiiiiice deep puuuurrr hehe

yea the canister is a bit big, but if u say its got a nice purrrrrr, then ill look into it

Thanks for all the replies. I decided to go with a Blitz Realize TT. Subtle and very quiet, so I'm told.

Im not sure if its the same one as my friends... but imma go to his shop and look at it again. If it is the same one... oh yeah baby!

but in my opinion... fart cans - I mean Honda exhaust are... how u say=

especially the knock-offs

(sorry.... I had to put that Honda thing in, so tired of hearing fart sounds commin from them... I need that HKS system my friend runs! bring the pure bliss back to my neighborhood )

I have the HKS Hi Power 85mm catback on my 240. It is real quiet, and it purrs real nicely. Dont be fooled, it growls at higher rpms. But yeah, really quiet and its HKS

This is true with the exception of the 76mm Realize TT designed for the SR. I also like the way it looks on the car. Not a big fan of large mufflers or ones that are angled coming out the back of the car. The TT almost looks stock and I'm told it's nearly as quiet.

check out the newest turbo magazine. they compare 11 catbacks. i forgot which one was the best, some company i've never heard of, but it added 30 whp to a TT supra.
