I have a 1993 240sx with a CA18DET motor, the only exhasut i have is the down pipe straight off the turbo manifold, in other words i need a full exhaust system. I only know that I want a Y pipe for the dual exhaust look. My question is what kind off muffler would be the best to keep my car a sleeper and still be unrestricted. I cant stand the typical ricer noise, so i would like to keep my car quiet and still get the added performance of an upgraded ehaust system.

 

y do u want dual on a CA it will not free up HP cuz ur downpipe will the the restriction. I would recomend a mandrel bent exhaust from a store like Midas. They mad a 2.5 inch dualcustom jobbie fro my uncles mazda 6. It costs alot but he fot some high performance muffler ( i forget the name) and it just sounds meaner with out the high pitched motorcycle engine sound

 

rsr makes a bit quite cat backs. they basicly look like you took a growing gun and shot a factory exhaust. 3" mandrel bent also.

 

hks makes a sport exhaust that is mandrel bent and looks close to stock
