Unhappy a few Q's about my sr!

well first off, i just got my sr running and ideling decently, but when i drive it it seems so slow.It feels like when the boost is supposed to make you go faster it does the opposite. It feels as if it would be faster N/A .

-a list of things i think it might be

1) at first i thought i f'ed up my bov cause it was on backwards, and it was letting a little bit of air out (stock supra bov)so i bought another stock bov for a supra and it did the same thing when put on correctly and both of them made a psshh sound when you let off the gas. So i ran the car with out it and it was fine, then i put the BOV back on and instead of blowing into the atmosphere i ran going back into the intake, and ran it again and it was fine. a friend of mine said to tighten a screw on the BOV and it dosent have one so the cant be it.

2) im pretty sure my vacuum lines are ok, top left to my feul pressure regulator and T'd to my boost gauge.Top right to my BOV. the bottom one i blocked off. I was told i had to tap into my I/C pipe and run a vac hose from it to my wastegate actuator so i did and i seems to werk fine. BTW i have my boost controller in between my I/C pipe and my waste gate actuator, and when the boost is turned all the way down the waste gate does open up .when its turned up some it doesnt move that rod(or at least when theres no load on the engine)

When ever i go take my car for a spin i keep an eye on my boost gauge and it reads .06 bar so i dont thinkl there is a leak?

thanks for your input in advanced!!!

Check all of your intercooler piping connections. Could be one is loose and leaking air

Im not completly sure if it would lose boost or not. Your wastegate problem could be due to some kind of adjustment on the wastegate. Dont know if it has an adjustment or not. Maybe your boost controller could be messed up?

i had a similar problem when my timing advanced itself (the CAS bolts were loose).

To check your timing, you'll need a timing light (duh), an extra coil pack (or if you're in a pinch, you can rig your coil pack for this, just don't break anything), and a length of spark plug wire.

Take the plug wire and jam it into the coil pack's plug end. Tape it in place so it won't move, and remove the coil pack from the #1 cylinder. Attach the plug wire to the spark plug and then set up your timing light.

I prefer to use an extra coil pack because i don't like putting tape on one that stays in the engine.

maybe its the boost controller?I have it running from the nipple on my I/C piping to the TurboXS Manual Boost Controller to the wastegate actuator. Am i supposed to T it to that hose or do i have it right?
