So how would you describe the power improvement? Was it throughout the power band or did it benefit power levels up high, mid-range? I was always told its not a wise investment unless your pushing some pretty serious power. I would like to know if it really is worth consideration. Thanks.

how much- heavythrottle sells them from 486 or something close to that...Chris at je importperformace did the install along with the help of james...

-as far as power improvment goes...its pretty much all though out the power band, but there was a much more significant gain in the mid-range...all i have to say is that you can feel the power difference, not only that but the response of the engine is 10X better vs the stock...trust me its badass, the only problem is that the install was pretty expensive, since the stock intake mani was higher they had to re-route the intercooler pipes, make a new throttle cable braket, and some other odds and ends

yeah im still running a stock turbo with stock boost...on stock injectors, id imagine that with a larger turbo and with more boost, you will gain even more power then i have...as far as the way it works, the runners are 2309430840392804 times shorter then stock which will increase response and add hp, also the actual barrel of the intake manifold is larger which allows more air to come through the engine, im sure that im off on a few things b/c im really not to sure how it works in details, but if ou look at in comparison with the stock unit youll see how big of a difference it will make!!! good luck!

it's odd that the intake runners are shorter and still give you more power. on turboed cars, you want longer intake runners to give a flatter torque curve, which will improve low range power. what you're probably perceiving as increased power is possibly a sharper torque curve and added horse.

just my .02, but i think the stock S13 SR manifold is good, although the head will always benefit from a port and polish.

sorry but i just dont see how you can feel so much of a difference over the stock intake mani while running stock boost and stock turbo. i can see it being more responsive but not a real big power increase. oh and the barrel thing youre refering to is called the plenum. if you wanna get all technical and stuff. i see this intake mani being a waste unless you do a turbo upgrade.

well i feal a HUGE difference...i guess yoiull know once you get one...no need to feel sorry about the information, i know from expeirence, and what i say is the truth as far as this intake mani goes...and yes the intake runners are alot shorter...which will benefit any car na/fi...and for the guy that says that

what you're probably perceiving as increased power is possibly a sharper torque curve and added horse.-----isnt that a power increase

all i know is that my car is ALOT faster then before...thats all i have to say about that!
