How much boost can a stock ka24de safely run?

depends on the turbo

 

200-217 or so. just a rough estimate.

 

Id highly recomend uping your internals, you wont have to worry about overboosting/blowing your engine. I know that its the long way to go because you have to pull the engine and replace a lotta the stuff and wait to get the turbo but just think of the results. Otherwise id jst run 8 as a daily with stock internals. But like i was saying better internals=more boost. So its all up to you. Im also looking to turbo my KA but im gunna replace the internals first and try getting around 15 as a daily if anyone has any comments about how much i expect to get go ahead and hit me up because the more feedback i can get the better results i will have.

 

im gonna buy one of the boost designs rebuild kits all i need the is worked c/r's or some aftermarket ones and poof bottom end takes 25 ez. oh dont forget ARP HEAD STUDSS!! . also if u gonna want to boost high dont go piggyback get a standalone

 

what internals would i have to upgrade, and roughly how much would that be?

 

all u really need for 300 reliable horse power is forged pistons, arp head studs and metal head gasket thats preety much it. oh and in not sure if the stock injectors will be enough for 300 get some sr20det ones the go for lie 70-90 bucks on ebay u looking at about 600 bucks right there but if ur changing injectors ull need a fuel controller
