intake manifolds ?

intake manifolds ?

what intake manifolds are you guys using on your ka-t's we are thinking that is why the headgasket blew and the ring blew in #3

uh, no. Headgaskets and rings don't blow because of intake manifolds. They go because of A) overheating (usually #1 cause) B) wasn't assembled to spec after turbo rebuild or C) normal wear and tear (abuse).

I'm sure there are one or two I may have missed, but usually A is your likely answer.

If you want to make your own I.M., make sure you get good seals on your edges.

Yah, you forgot that thing called detonation. That'll **** your rings up.

i agree with all statements but with egt's were good and i figured the hg would be the first thing to go then rings but did them all at once. the design of the manifold isn't too good for lots of forced induction so just lookin to the upgrades so as to have 1 less thing to worry about.
