ka-t emissions

Hey, I just got a message in the mail that my car has to go in for emissions testing. I was wondering if anyone has had to deal with emissions, and how they passed them or got through it. My car is a 1995 OBDII, with a t25 setup. Im running a 3" testpipe right now which will be switched back to a cat, but any suggestions to help this thing pass would be awesome. Thanks and I did search.

yea... it depends on what they test, in PA a modified OBDll wont pass because it is a direct plug in, so if anything is missing (egr, aiv, evap etc) they'll know right away

just find someone that knows someone and get a sticker

Yea I just found out that if its a 1995 they will only give it the sniffer even though its OBDII. So with a cat I should actually be able to pass. Thanks a lot though

A 95' 240 with a 95' motor is OBD1, not 2. Don't know if you said you had a different year motor or not.

Actually 1995 240s produced later in the year are OBDII. Mine is a 95 OBDII and a new motor was not swapped in.

Look for an 02 sensor after your cat. You can check out http://hostingprod.com/@aa1car.com/library/us796obd.htm
for more info.

Hey, the exhaust is the Apex'i N1 which has been awesome. It definetly has a real nice sound... Unfortunatrly I can't get anymore pics right now because I'm actually in Savannah, GA for school and my cars back in CT. But if you check out the car domain there are a couple other pics... What turbo are you using for your set up?
