The only thing keeping me from going KA-T is the simple fact that KA24DE turbo kits pretty much add up to the price of a swap... unlike those damn HOnda $2k turbo kits that are pretty decent

If your looking for 200-250hp with only 7-8psi then i would go with ssa. Also their only $150 shipped >_<

IAP is Import Auto Performance

does anybody know how far the SSA kit can be pushed? as in psi etc. on stock internals? as i am looking/planning on getting one because as raine said why piece one together when there are kits and u don't feel like piecing it together.

Honestly i dont think the ssa kit would be worth it... its almost guarunteed* to give you problems... if you really want to turbo the motor save up for something you can trust

well if it's "guaranteed" problmes, how does the company stay in business? well on ka-t.org alot of people are using the mani and downpipe's so idk what's wrong with the kit? well is it specifically the GTRS28 that u think will give me problems? who here can actually speak from experience with the kit?

dude I can name 3-4 companies off the top of my head that make crap but sell a lot of it.

Check Ebay.

And I have no experience with an SSA on my car, but I've seen it on other cars- cracked, of course.

If you still want to gamble on it, it's your $.

there seals are bad.. theyll leak oil like a mother.

its hella cheaper to piece it together..if u want a mild 200hp it will only cost around $1200. thats if u install/tune it urself.
but if ur lazy buy a kit.

im piecing my **** together..its half way done. =]
