oil cooler for KA?

Anyone know where I can get one? I was thinking of yankin one off of a bus or something like that and getting some braided lines and just running it parallel..but where? Oil pump to turbo? Can i just stick it on the side or somethin?

best place to put it would be between the filter and block... if you had either and adapter peice or an oil filter relocation kit.
having the oil cooler on the oil send line to the turbo would help a bit, but not as much as having all oil flowing through the entire engine being cooled. the turbo would at least be the place that being cooled would help the most, though, to help prevent oil from coking within the turbo (although, by how much would be a good question).

Running it "in parallel" with the oil system wont really do much.

a friend of mine had one on his car, and said his oil pressure dropped a bit with it on. he's since taken it off. i haven't had much of a problem without an oil cooler on my car, and I've been through numerous autox events at 7psi.

how long do you let your turbo timer run? I have mine set to 2 minutes.
