SR vs turbo'd KA

I've read SRs doesn't respond well to 91-octane gas. And turbo'd KA is actually a better choice cuz it doesn't have to run high boost.

Is that true? Coz the highest grade here to feed my baby is 91. I don't want to put my money on a SR & find out later 91 isn't good enough for it, which means I'll lose power.

Any ideas? Thanks a lot, guys!

higher octane gas helps prevent the chance of detonation. My theory is on any boosted car, don't be cheap on gas.

we get 104 at the pump. Too bad it is at the track. Couldn't you compensate for the lesser octane with fuel management?

alright, take that 82 cents and times that by 3.8 (thats how many litre's in a gallon) = 3.12 canadian. . which would be ~1.85 a gallon.
I think thats right, if not then you gotta divide by zero.
