T-78
he has a 2nd gen 99 gsx, an no he doesnt have a boost controller.how much does the 20g cost an does it fit on the stock manifold?how much did that chip cost you an how was the power gain an where did you get it?
ok a t-78 is a common turbo upgrade for the RB25 and RB26 yeah not a KA24DE. you have to remember that those are both inline 6 engines not 4 cylinders. The 13b is a rotory with can handle that big of a turbo. My friend had a t-78 on his 20b in his 3rd gen RX-7 and he had trouble putting enough fuel into the engine. so he downgraded and it runs so much better and he doesnt have fuel problems.
hey 240s13boi, he needs a boost controller. nothing ads more power than a couple of psi. the 20 g is right around $1000. you can get some a little cheaper, but mine uses a td06 wheel and has a 15 degree clip. these upgrades cost a little extra money. It fit on my evo 3 manifold. the 2nd gen is flanged for t-25 turbos, so you need an adapter kit that makes it fit. a really good turbo now for his car is the evo 3 16 g. quick spool up and 350hp turbo. capable of easy 12 sec. passes and it is only $600 with internal wastegate! The chip is no longer in production, so it would be tough to find one, but it was $400
Sorry about being off topic.

yeah it would you are right........but if you put a t-78 on a engine that has stock internals it isnt going to work out for you at all. He is going to run so so so so so lean and going to blow his engine. so let him do what he wants. And like i said before good luck getting the right amount of fuel into it.
The copper Sp Engineering S14 has a Greddy T-78, but it's on an SR. He rolled with us to the 240sx convention and that thing was suuuuuper loud on the freeway! He had the HKS titanium. They said it was a bad setup b/c it the exhaust manifold would always crack. The darn thing was just too heavy. It's good for top end, but ok for daily driving. I don't know what happened, but I think 2 Grex pistons got melted. At separate times!
