t25 ka24det

Hey, I was wondering if anyone here is running the sr20 garrett t25 their on a ka24det. if you are, how is it working for you. Also, does anyone have a compressor map for the T25? I'm considering running this setup my self. Any input is appreciated.

i guess my question is do you already have the turbo or somthing? the T25 is a very small turbo and uless its off the S15 its not a ball bearing turbo so theres really nothing special to it. But if you already have it and that is your reason then it wouldn't be a bad setup. I just think you should using somthing better IMO, you know sence your going to be going through the trouble of doing a turbo kit i would think you would just want a little bit more get up. but its up to you.

Actually i know someone who has the turbo and is trying to sell it. Money is tight and running this setup would be much cheaper than most others. It's really just to get started. I'm trying to see if its gonna be worth running this turbo or if I should hold out for a larger one. If anyone has any experience with running a t25 on the ka24de it would be cool to hear what you have to say about it.

By the way s14 and s15 sr20 turbos are T28s.

I would say hold out for a better turbo. Now I don't have experince with a T25 on a KA, but I feel it's even too small for the SR. I could only imagine it being a huge bottle neck and feeling like crap in high rev's. I'd say atleast buy it and get a forced performance big28...

yeah i would say hold out to unless like you say your getting it really cheap then it would be a good idea just to get started. but i guess that depends on how cheap it is.
