Hi everyone, I'm a newbie with questions reguarding this turbo (TD06S) that supposedly going to be used in the new Greddy KA24DE kit. What's the maximum boost? What kind of power could this turbo put out?. I think Greddy used the same turbo for the RX-7 kit. I've done some research but was not able to come up with any clear answer to this, so please don't flame. Thank you all in advance.

Itll put out some power but not much. The kit is already out, if you go to www.enjukuracing.com they have it for 3k, thats w/o fmic. Its a 20g turbo, not a monster but it spools quick.

is there a intercooler kit that will bolt up to the KA greddy turbo kit? Or do you have to do a little custom pipe making???

 

i beg to differ with previous comments. the 20 g is a mitsubishi turbo that was originally designed for a BIG upgrade for mitsubishi eclipses and starions. i run a td06 20 g from slow boy racing on my eclipse and at 26 psi the car pushes over 400 hp and runs strong in the 11s at new england dragway. the 20 g is a monster, but you need to turn up the boost. 7psi on a 20 g is weak. 27 psi would be fun!!!

 

chris is right, the 20g is a larger turbo, and would be out of its efficiency range at a pressure that low. if you are looking for big power later on and turning up the boost, then you may be on the right track, otherwise I would pick a turbo that is better suited to your car.

in response to the power, it says 210hp, but I would imagine that as a low level number, this turbo could push much more than that

kikass steve. look for a moroon 1st gen eclipse with a fmic and racing interior. dats mee!!! also i don't know what the hell my s13 240 will look like by then but i got one a those too.
