Ok, after countless hours of decision making I have narrowed my choices to a GT2871R or a T3/T4 and I can't make up my mind on which one. I am looking for about 400 at the motor w/ decent spool, but would like to chose the turbo that would allow for a little more. Both it seems produce simmilar numbers so anybody have an opinion?

 

gt2871 is only really efficent to 350 go for a bigger turbo, go with a gt3071r that should hit around 420 with a good setup

ooooooooohhhhhhh that's a hard one. i've seen a 340 whp setup (sr) with the 2871 and it spooled nicely. not sure on the efficiency, but it's a really nice turbo none the less. 400chp should be 320ish whp correct?

but when it all comes down to it its your choice, there is an awesome thread in the faq section about turbos should help you decide

 

dude one is a t2 flange another one is t3 flange do u have a manifold already ?? make up ur mind on the flanges but if u want faster spool stick with the t2 flange turbos

 

the manifold isn't really an issue which ever I go with I will be buying a new manifold as well. I am kind of leaning toward the gt2871 though
