Turbo KA

I am doing a KA turbo in my 86 corolla. I am looking for some direction on where to get performance parts for the KA and what brand to go with.I am looking for people who have used the parts preferably. The main things are cams, headgasket, Valves, retainers and springs. I am keeping the stock bottom end. I am only running 7 psi max. I plan on running SR injectors. I have the car ready for installation I am just waiting on getting these items for the engine. Any input would be greatly appreciated positive or negative.Thanks.

I would go to http://www.ka-t.org/forums/

For 7psi I would just leave the engine stock. All that is needed is fuel upgrades and then something to controll the fuel. Also bump the timing down just a bit. Boostdesigns.com phatka-t.com are 2 good places to order. I have the phatka-t turbo kit on order minus the AEM standalone. Def check out ka-t.org lots of info in there for you

the ka is a great engine. I have an SR5 which is carberated. To swith to the fuel injection you have to swap the entire harness bumper to bumper. I had acsee to a 240 which allowed me to get the engine, tranny, entire car wiring harness, gauges, fuel pump, driveshaft and ecu for $300. The engine has 100,000 miles on it which isnt bad for that engine. That engine with 6psi is just shy of 300hp and 300ftlbs to the ground if tuned right. No 4age will do that on stock internals.
