turbo question

has anyone ever heard of using a HOLSET HX35 turbo off a dodge diesel? just want to know if it will work?

yeah.. i kno what your talking about. Ive seen it done and ran personally. It works good and handles a good amount of "daily drivin boost".The spool up isnt bad neither. What model are you using it on? The one i've seen it done on was the S14 style.

i dont see why not. i've seen cummins deisel turbos on subaru 2.5rs'

just be prepared for lots of problems, and lots of work.

it seems like itd be smarter to use a turbo thats more common for ka-t's, i dont see why this turbo is so unique, but then again, i dont know much about it. maybe a GT35 is more what your looking for?

I dunno if id go that big haha... but it would be much easier to use a garret/hks series turbos so you can have the same flanges/piping etc if or when you upgrade

i was misinformed it is a HOLSET H1c, it also comes with a topmount stainless manifold and a 2.5 in turbo elbow for a 240. also a 9 cm exhaust housing.

what kind of problems do you mean? and what kind of work? what would be so different from this turbo and all the piece together kits?
