turbo rotation?
Is it possible to rotate a compressor housing? I have a T3 turbo off of a Mercedes Turbo Diesel and was wondering if it would be possilbe to rotate the compressor downwards. Right now, the hotpipe outlet faces right toward the fender, but id like it to face downwards for a super, top-secret reason. When the super, top-secret reason comes to pass, ill post LOTS of pics

I have not seen a mercedes turbin but I dont know why it would be any different than any other turbin so my answer is YES. Yes, you can rotate the compressor housing. Simply undo the bolts or take out the C-ring and spin it to the desired direction and re-fasten the bolts/ring.
