i have a red top sr20det in my car. i am gonna upgrade to S15's stock turbo. which part should i upgrade with the turbo? like intercooler, injector? any other? i want to go for the safe way to do it. thanks

 

Are you still running stock sidemount intercooler? If so you will want to upgrade the intercooler anyways, it depends what levels of boost you are planning on running too.

 

i need 250HP on the wheels...that's it.

 

You will want to upgrade your injectors, you will need to get your ecu reprogrammed or get a piggyback for the injectors. Get a manual boost controller/electronic boost controller and turn up the boost to around 1 bar. That should get you up to around 250whp.

 

what if i get a s15 turbo? i still need those upgrades?

actually, i have some other questions...

1) how do i know my turbo is in good condition? like how to check it?

2) when i take off those intercooler piping, i found that there are a later of black oil on the surface...is that normal?
