Turbo's in Cali

i was wondering if anyone knows a place that sells turbo kits for KA24DE's, that have the CARB number and is legal in California?

I looked and there does not appear to be any. Your best bet is to wait until you pass smog again and then put the kit on so at least you're good for two years.

The xs turbo kit isnt legal in california though.

greddy is trying to get is carb cert. for its ka turbo kit but it hasnt happened yet to my knowledge...but that depends on your car...the kit is designed to work with obd 2 emissions controls so if your car is after the 95 and a half mark in production you would be okay...if not you may be looking at swaping a newwer ka24de into your car to be completely legal..that is if you have an s13 or an obd 1 s14.

agreed, greddy is just about the only choice. getting a turbo kit that is smog legal is difficult, and getting a smog legal kit that produces decent power is almost impossible. you may want to review your power goals, and funds a little more before making any decisions on kits.
